When your group is discoverable, anyone who finds your group on the directory or by searching for groups within the app can request to join.
Administrators, hosts and moderators can all see and deal with join requests for their groups.
- In the main menu you'll see 'Join requests'. A grey element with a number indicates how many join requests your group has waiting for approval.
- Tap to open the list.
- You have three options: Accept, Ignore or DM.
- If you DM a potential member, your other account admins, hosts and moderators will be able to see a note added to the join request letting them know that you are currently talking to the member. This extra visibility will enable your team to know who is dealing with the request via an active DM conversation
- When a message is sent to the requester a DM dialog appears labelled clearly showing that this is a message to requesting member with a quick Accept/Ignore option
If you select “Ignore” from the DM dialog, you and the requester won’t be able to communicate unless you are in each other's network or share a group.
